Nike Dunk High x Kobe Bryant x SBTG “Varsity Bones”

Shoe customizer SBTG has worked with Nike on numerous occasions including the well known Nike SB SBTG Dunk Low. With that being said, SBTG dwelled far into the depths of his imagination to complete a special 1 of 1 shoe for Kobe Bryant. The shoe examines the hypothetical realm and ponders the question, “What if Kobe didn’t make make the jump straight to the NBA and became a Blue Devil?” What resulted was a highly detailed Nike Dunk High with a pre-yellowed midsole, discontinuity on each shoe’s midpanels, which are then embossed with Kobe’s signature Shozoko logos. The box itself is a separate work of art which is composed of a laser detailed wooden frame and a plexiglass cover. The climax of SBTG’s work came when SBTG presented Kobe with the custom “Varsity Bones” along a stop of Kobe’s Asia tour.
